Rooted in the north-western corner of Milan, Closer have spent the last decade inviting audiences to embrace the unfamiliar, transforming strangers into companions and the latest techno into lifelong soundtracks.
Yet beneath all the technology and electronics lies something far more human: the connection between others. A heart, you could say. So often forgotten in these times, but never by our next collaborators. For Closer has become more than just a dance floor. A space where freedom reigns and individuality thrives; the resemblance is uncanny. Naturally. this is a match-up we’ve been waiting for for a very long time.
On Saturday 7th March, FOLD meets Closer Milano for a two room, twelve hour extended collaboration here in Canning Town.

A year on from our last encounter, Hypnus’ psychedelic vessel beckons us once more into the deepest trenches of electronic music.
No treasure lies buried forever - NTOGN made sure of that when he began Hypnus 13 years ago. Next month, our latest expedition will venture even further into uncharted territory in pursuit of the sounds that reward patience over instant gratification. Later, as we reach the outer limits of nature’s grasp, Hypnus’ intricate synthesizers will take over. Two live performances from Luigi Tozzi and Innersha lie ahead.
From dreamlike ambience drifting across the ocean floor to pounding dancefloor techno rooted in the forests of Scandinavia, much like Jules Verne’s own epic, the greatest thrill lies not at the destination but in the adventure along the way.
