DETECT - Close Proximity

For our final DETECT of the year, we invite the duo, @closeproximitysc to record an exclusive mix for us.

In this year’s festival season you would’ve been hard-pressed to find a set that didn’t feature at least one of Close Proximity’s tracks. Such was the duo’s explosion onto dance music this year, their progressive house anthems have become the centre-point of many artists journeys, offering up the kind of high-energy nostalgia that would have felt right at home in the Second Summer of Love. Each track a blissful journey within itself, much like their mid-90s’ inspirations each track offers up an experience that has to be heard to be believed.

A paragraph perhaps unthinkable to the pair back at the start of the year, with the Close Proximity project still very much an idea in its infancy, yet 12 months later the pair end their 2025 with 15 acclaimed releases, including 5 EPs on labels such as Jen Cardini’s Dischi Autunno, Miguel De Bois' Return To Forever, Belters4U and more.

For our final DETECT of the year we flip the switch on Close Proximity and invite the pair to lay down their production tools and step behind the decks to record an exclusive mix for us.

A 90 minute showcase of the tracks that inspire them awaits, covering everything from the 90s through to the present-day as well as some upcoming unreleased tracks from the pair.
